I have something to share with you. Remember when I mentioned here that I won in one of Our Awesome Planet’s contest before? Well, I did it again. Yes for the second time! It was such a crazy guess when Anton asked where in the Philippines is the next destination of OAP this coming month. I told him, "BOHOL is my guess. Coz i'm also going there this August".
And lucky me, I was right! Honestly, I couldn’t think of any place because I know the guy has been to a lot of places here and abroad. I was really surprised after learning that he will be doing a tour of Bohol too. Anyways, I just got myself a new Jansport Graphix Remix Bag courtesy of this contest.

So like I said, my husband and I are scheduled to come to Bohol on the third week of August. We pre-booked the tickets last May together with our Puerto Princesa, Palawan trip to take advantage of Cebu Pacific’s zero fare promo.
The fun part of this is traveling with my office friends and their family. In Palawan, I get to bond with Paul’s officemates. This time, he will have to get along with my friends for 4 days and 3 nights. We are such a big group (10 adults and 4 kids) and I realized that booking a group tour is way cheaper than booking as a couple. To give you a hint, our share is just Php3k+ each, and that’s already for 4D3N in Bohol Divers Resort at the Alona Beach in Panglao Island. We already received our itinerary and here are some of the reasons why I’m so excited about this trip.

Departure
Now you see, our Day 2 is left without any plan. And until now, my friends and I have been thinking what are the other things to do or places to see in Bohol that are not included in the package. Tina, one of my tour companions, suggested if we could post this puzzle here in my blog so we could solicit suggestions. Can you help us please? We heard that we could also side trip Cebu via ferry, but we still have no idea how to do it. Is 1 day enough to tour Cebu? What are the best spots to be seen in Cebu in just 1 day? If not, what are the other places not to be missed in Tagbilaran which are not mentioned in our itinerary? We hope we could pick up from any of your suggestions before we fly to Bohol on August 21. Thanks in advance!

From bohol, you may go to Tagbilaran and ride a ferry going to cebu - http://www.bohol.ph/article107.html?sid=fa235f48e388e33b98cb7e5571a27da4
Its a 2 hours travel and costs around 200/pax (march 2008)
Places to go to Cebu - magellan's cross, sm/ayala, lapulapu shrine (altho malayo layo xa), big foot studios, fort san pedro and the famous Taboan...
wow, I have always wanted to go to Bohol. Hopefully early next year. Lucky you for winning Our Awesome Planet's contest! =)
take the time to:
1. check out the gorgeous
centuries old churches
that line the road from
tagbi to loboc.
2. the giant anaconda
and his caretaker,
"marimar", who puts on
a show that will put
marian rivera to shame!
Sagbayan Peak is a must. And so is the Bohol Mangrove Forest.

@pinay celeb, thanks for this info. Our tour group is still hesitant to side trip Cebu because of the weather.
@spanx, yeah! someone mentioned "marimar" to me, we'll definitely see her lol!
