The Great Palawan Escape

Our Puerto Princesa trip was realized because of so many intentions. First of all, ever since my husband and I got married in December 2007, we have not really experienced a romantic get-away in what they call an ideal honeymoon destination. Baguio City is where we tied the knot and since it was almost christmas, we became too busy preparing for the wedding, attending family reunions, and holiday parties… too busy to even plan a tour for the two of us! After five months of demanding work and still not pregnant, Paul and I thought that we needed to break away from our busy world. Beside, it's his birthday! It was also part of the plan to celebrate his day out of town. Although ultimately, it was really out of inspiration after both of us have voted for the new 7 wonders of nature.

Party of Five - Did I say it’s supposed to be a honeymoon? Then read again. After we have booked a flight via Cebu Pacific Air, Skyglygin (husband’s office buddy and also my friend) showed his interest to come with us. Weeks before our scheduled trip, another friend of husband, Vanman, tagged along. Three days prior to leaving for Palawan, Vanman’s wife also showed certainty in joining our tour group. Now, how exciting was that for a honeymoon? Don’t get me wrong, I sincerely enjoyed their company. Really! Our Palawan adventure will never be as awesome and as amazing as it was if they were not part of it.

hi, i came here first thru your puerto princesa post courtesy of anton (hey, congrats on that free movie tickets hehe) and i thought of asking you about your itineraries as we will be also be doing puerto prinsesa (or coron) come december.

i didn't know, until now, that you actually made a post about your 4d-3n palawan escape. i can never thank you enough for this, but still thank you. :)

our original plan was to use PAL palakbayan package but it appears that niko's cabanas packages are more practical and less expensive!

i'll definitely come back here for more of your travels. can i also link your blog? thanks.
