Ran Ramen Tei and Sushi Bar

I really thought I owe my friend Gin a follow-up post, after she introduced me and our officemates to this humble Japanese bistro at the Fort.

California Maki - P95

First of all, I’m a huge fan of Japanese cooking. So after she has featured Ran Ramen Tei and Sushi Bar in Ginny from the Blog, we kept bugging her to bring us to the place so we could sample their specialties. Incidentally, Ran Ramen is few blocks away from Gin’s residence.

It was lunch time when we decided to leave the office to eat out. Ran Ramen is just a small place along Bayani Road in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. I would suggest calling them first to assure a comfortable seating, especially if you’re a group of more than 10 people like us. Manager and owner, Randolph Rebleza, was there to welcome us. He was even the one who took our orders and served us.

The best thing I love about Ran Ramen is the price. It’s not one of those highly-commercialized Japanese joints in terms of setting but it’s really comparable when it comes to taste.

Katsudon - P70

I tried Katsudon (one of my favorites) so I could compare it with the other restaurants I visited. Believe me, it’s really good and it’s only 70 pesos!

Tuna Sashimi - P120

Mix Furai - P80

The rest of my colleagues pig out that day. Great, we all went back to the office, stuffed and satisfied in terms of how much we shelled out.

Ebi Furai - P80

Ran Ramen Tei and Sushi Bar is one of those unpretentious restaurants we seldom discover but are really serving good food and has value to money. If you’re just within the vicinity and has not heard about this place, try to drop by one of these days. It’s really worth trying!

Chicken Teriyaki - P130
