Hi Mich,

I'm planning on going home to Phils in November this year for a visit with my 2 young children. I noticed that you had a blog about this particular airline...
I've never flown with Cebu Pacific before...can you tell me what their service is like? Thanks heaps.

cebu pacific is a low cost airline, but to be honest, don't expect any service. I just flew from cebu through this airline and checked-in late, they did not allow me to check in because I was late for the 10.20 flight, I came at 10.06 to check-in. Turns out that someone in the 12.05 flight requested to be seated in the 10.20 flight and he was just right in front of us and he was given priority. Cebu Pac's check-in counter opens up 2 hours before flight so I supposed he just checked-in at about 10.05. Those who rebooks have to pay the most expensive rate for the day's flight, so I supposed he did pay for that and was given priority over me who paid for the cheaper rate and even paid for the reserved seats.

I cancelled my flight and took PAL

right now cebu pacific is higher than PAL by 300.00 pesos

@rex,yes u are right.cebu pacific was so unfair now.If they are the one delaying the flight no body is complaining.march 08,2010,i flew from tacloban to manila, and im checked -in late too,for only 5 mins and they were not allowing me to check-in but i need to fly that time so they cancelled my old ticket and they need me to pay a new one and it will cost 6385,it is so expensive but i really need to go to manila at that time,so no choise so i was paid that amout but it is really up setting and so disappointing about the rules in late check-in .So it is better to have the PAL.
