The Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine in Pangasinan has been one of my favorite churches ever since I met Paul. Since 2005, I have been keeping a yearly list of my petitions for Our Lady of Manaoag and I should say that most of them has been granted. Now, I come there not just to ask but to say my gratitude for the blessings I have been receiving each year.
Our Lady of Manaoag is known for miraculously curing the sick. It is also a church chosen by many to bless their newly acquired vehicle. Religious objects, candles, even healing oils were sold outside the church.
Prayer to Our Lady of Manaoag
Virgin Mother of God, Queen of the most Holy Rosary, thou, who hast chosen to raise thy throne of mercy in Manaoag, to be the beloved protectress and Patron of the Province of Pangasinan, and therefrom to bestow thy graces on us, thy children, banished in this valley of tears, look down with thine eyes of mercy upon me, who am beset with so many dangers of body and soul. Despise not my petition, O dearest Mother, but intercede for me before thy divine Son now and at the hour of my death. Amen.
Virgin of Manaoag, pray for us.

Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.
Romans 8:34
Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
(Jesus intercedes for us.. nobody else, not even His mother, or the so called lady of manaoag)
Romans 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. we do not know what we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.
(the Holy Spirit intercedes for us not the lady of manaoag)
Pray directly to the Father, to His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, and to the Holy Spirit. in short, pray directly to them. They are listening to our prayers.
learn na Bible not the religion..
to jeremy, it is also written on the bible that we should test the spirits that appears on us, with the fruits they bear, we shall learn if its from God or not. Many have been converted and become great advocate of peace and love because of having a devotion to mother mary. if thats your belief or religion to despise the channel of great graces i cannot convince you to believe about the mother of jesus. maybe try to reflect what angel gabriel and elizabeth have said about mary, the mother of jesus. and try to reflect the lady's characteristics that was foretold by the great prophets of the bible, i think by then you will see, if God will shower His Graces on you, you will understand why we Catholics venerate Mama Mary.

it is awesome!!
I personally think that what jeremy said was uncalled for. I mean, when it comes to religion or faith (two different things, mind you), we should just agree to disagree.
That being said, this is a travel website, right? Why include prayers in it? It should be objective, and at the very least, non-sectarian. Im a Catholic but I don't impose my faith on other people. Not all people go to Manaoag to venerate the Holy Mother. Some people go because they want to marvel at the culture.
