I just want to comment about the idea of saying that some people are pertaining that zoo are a concentration camp for animals. If you could actually see that they are well fed and are given the best care for an animal. If you will bring them back to the wild as you want them, it will be more dangerous for them cause ever since they are born they are already in refuge with human and they have no knowledge of how they would feed themselves. All those animals that are being taken cared by the zoo are like little children being loved and taken cared by their parents, if you will let them go roam the street of manila they would be used, exploited and left for dead with their own kind. For those who think that taking care of that animals in a zoo are wrong, think again and be ashamed of what you are saying. More animals are extinct today because they were left in the wild, thanks to the people who are taking real care of this captured animals they are growing in numbers already...

The Manila Zoo and the Kinder Zoo are nothing more than concentration camps for animals. The animals "live" like inmates in tiny cages; some in extreme and total isolation. For example, Mali the elephant and Sisi the orangutan live alone despite the fact that they are highly social and intelligent animals. As a result, Mali exhibits mental illness which is seen in her walking the same steps over and over again. These animals have committed no crimes, yet they have been sentenced to solitary confinement without parole; this is shameful.
